Sri krishna appeared over five thousand years ago in Mathura, to Devaki and Vasudeva in the jail. Kansa was the king of Mathura and uncle of loard krishna .The place of his birth is known as Sri Krishna JanmaBhumi. The word Krishna means the person who is attractive to everyone.

This figurine of Lord Krishna is elegantly carved using the finest, seasoned wood from the forest of Karnataka by the expert & skilled Artisans. Krishna is often depicted as an infant, as a young boy playing a flute as in the Bhagavata Purana, or as a youthful prince giving direction and guidance as in the Bhagavad Gita.

In his Bhagavad-gita, Sri krishna promises: "Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion--at that time I descend Myself. To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I myself appear millennium after millennium." 
 
Maintenance Tips:  
Suggestible for Indoor Use. For timely maintenance, slightly dust the piece with soft dry cloth, use a mild wood polish on a swab of cotton wool to give glittering look.
