Sai Baba

SKU : SS1

The tranquil figurine of Shirdi Sai Baba is deftly crafted from the finest seasoned sandalwood and is mounted on a pedestal of pure rosewood. The skill of the craftsmen is evident in the languid drape of the seer’s simple dress and the serenity that the statue exudes.

A fakir in a tattered kafni (long robe), Shirdi Sai Baba was an Indian yogi and a Muslim fakir, regarded by his Hindu and Muslim followers as a Saint.
The Shirdi phenomenon defies simple explanation. He is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva or Dattatreya and is said to appear to devotees of multiple faiths as their deity. He founded no religion or sect, developed no trademark spiritual philosophy or left behind any apostles. He preached a simple moral code based on the uniformity of religions and performed miracles to reiterate their faith in the Almighty and alleviate the suffering of poor people. Rising above religion, Shirdi Sai Baba preached a moral code of love, forgiveness, charity, inner peace and devotion to God. Several take refuge in him because of his promise to help devotees in times of crisis.

Maintenance Tips:
Keep indoors. Lightly dust the figurine as required. We recommend the use of a mild wood cleaner on a swab of cotton wool.
